AJK CEC writes to PM Imran Khan after Ali Amin Gandapur seen donating cash while campaigning

  The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chief Election Commissioner, retired Justice Abdul Rashid Sulehria, has written a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan requesting him to ensure that ministers observe the code of conduct set for the July 25 elections to the AJK Legislative Assembly. The development comes after a video began circulating on social media which shows Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur handing over a thick bundle of cash to some supporters in AJK's LA-1 Mirpur 1 constituency where he had gone to campaign this week. Shahid Afridi 'really impressed' by Shahnawaz Dahani's younger brother in nets

  Former Pakistan team captain Shahid Afridi on Thursday said he is "really impressed" by the bowling of the younger brother of Multan Sultans pacer Shahnawaz Dahani and called for better sports facilities in interior Sindh. "Really impressed by this young fast bowler who is brother of Shahnawaz Dahani, serious bowling talent in the family!" tweeted Afridi along with a video of him seeing the bowler bowl in the nets.  Afridi said that there is "real cricket talent in interior Sindh".  To highlight the lack of sports facilities in other areas of Sindh, he said that "ideally players shouldn't need to travel to Karachi", urging the government to develop "quality facilities across interior Sindh".

  Muslim students from a United Kingdom madrassa cheered up for England as the national football team locked heads with Denmark during the Euro 2020 second semi-final match on Wednesday. During the meeting, the prime minister was briefed by the police chief on the progress made on the sexual harassment and detention investigation of the couple in Islamabad’s Sector E-11.
